Luiz Fernando Viera is quickly becoming a highly respected and highly sought after guitarist. As part of Heavy Rock brazilian band REPUBLICA,with  Leo Belling, Vocals, Luiz Fernando Vieira, Lead Guitars, Marco Vieira, Bass, Jorge Marinhas, Rhythm Guitars and Vocals and Mike Maeda, drums, Luiz has been shredding up Latin America. After the first two albums – Republica (1996) and There’s No Fucking Electronic Modern Loop (2008), REPUBLICA opened the shows of the last tour of Deep Purple in Brazil and after the great reaction of the public, they were invited to perform at mega festivals like Lollapalooza and Rock in Rio. The third album, Point of No Return, marks a new phase in the band’s career. With heavy guitar riffs, strong grooves and elaborated melodies, the band has a unique sound of heavy rock in the current global scenario. The album featured the participation of Roy Z in the song Goodbye Asshole and Luis Paulo Serafim as producer, winner of three Grammys.
